Power interconnect engineering for AI servers and BBU systems

We help develop flexible links, busbars, and insulated connections for AI server power, battery backup units (BBU), and rack distribution. For battery modules, we also work on cell interconnect and sensing assemblies.

Which connection do you need?

Show us where the part sits in the power module, rack, or BBU. Include the mating terminals, available space, and assembly method. Let us know who will approve the design.

Choosing the connection

A flexible link may suit a connection that needs movement or has limited space. A busbar carries current between terminals, while a battery interconnect assembly can also include sensing connections. Share your layout so we can discuss a suitable design.

Current, temperature, and installation requirements

Include nominal and peak duty information where available, thermal conditions, allowable temperature rise, voltage and insulation requirements, terminal geometry, joining or fastening requirements, service or assembly access, and expected quantities. Share any customer standard or test procedure that governs acceptance.

What do you need to learn from the samples?

Samples can help check fit, compare a design change, or evaluate a second source. Before starting, we agree what to make, which tests to run, and the acceptance limits. We can also discuss pilot and production requirements.

Project questions

Can you work to our rack specification?

Send the specification, connection drawings, and acceptance requirements. We can then assess the component design and discuss the tests needed for your application.

Can an existing BBU part be reviewed?

Yes. Send the drawing or sample, operating requirements, and the changes you want. Include any tests the replacement part needs to pass.

What is the best starting point for a new project?

Start with the part you need help with. A drawing or sample, operating requirements, estimated quantities, and a short description of the problem are enough for an initial discussion. We can discuss an NDA before you send confidential files.
